Important Notes

  • Presumptive values are for preliminary design only
  • A geotechnical investigation is required for final design
  • Reduce values by 50% if water table is within B of footing base
  • 1/3 increase allowed for wind or seismic load combinations
  • Values assume minimum embedment depth of 12 inches
